VỀ VIỆC ĐIỀU ƯỚC QUỐC TẾ CÓ HIỆU LỰC

Thực hiện quy định tại Điều 56 của Luật Điều ước quốc tế năm 2016, Bộ Ngoại giao trân trọng thông báo:

Nghị định thư về sửa đổi Điều 6 và Điều 17 của Hiệp định giữa Chính phủ nước Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam và Chính phủ Hoàng gia Cam-pu-chia về vận tải thủy, ký tại Phnôm-pênh, ngày 26 tháng 02 năm 2019, có hiệu lực từ ngày 26 tháng 02 năm 2019.

Bộ Ngoại giao trân trọng gửi bản sao Nghị định thư theo quy định tại Điều 59 của Luật nêu trên./.

ADDENDUM ON

THE REVISION OF ARTICLE 6 AND ARTICLE 17 OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM AND THE ROYAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMBODIA ON WATERWAY TRANSPORTATION

The Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia (hereinafter reffered to as “the Contracting Parties”),

IMPLEMENTING the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Royal Government of Cambodia on Waterway Transportation signed on 17 December 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement):

REFFERING to Article 39, Paragraph 2 of the Agreement authorizing for "Revision, Amendment and Modification"; within the competence of the Ministry of Transport of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

DESIRING to further and urgent promoting the facilitation on waterborne transportation of cargo and passengers between the two countries as well as transit transportation of cargo and passengers to and from third States within the territory of the Contracting Parties;

Have agreed as follows:

ARTICLE 1

Article 6 (1) of the Agreement shall be revised as follows:

"(1) Vessels exercising freedom of navigation for the purpose of transit or cross- border transportation shall use the border gates at either Vinh Xuong or Thuong Phuoc (Viet Nam) and Kaom Samnor or Koh Roka (Cambodia)."

ARTICLE 2

Article 17 (1) (b) (ii) of the Agreement shall be revised as follows:

"(ii) single stop formality carried out by the Vietnamese relevant authorities at either Vinh Xuong or Thuong Phuoc (Viet Nam) border gate."

ARTICLE 3

This Addendum shall form an intergral part of the Agreement and take effect upon its signature.
